Here's a time lapse of the AS5 lower being printed. Another 60 hour print condensed into 30 secs. This is shown printed on our Raise3D N2+ printer. The AS5 lower is designed specially for 3D printing. It has design features that minimize the need for slicer supports and reduces post processing work. Once the support structures are removed from the part, stainless steel threaded rods are installed to provide additional body strength. Video of that process coming soon.
Here's a video showing the Bingo Airsoft Designs AS5 Upper being 3D printed time lapse video. This is 60 hours condensed into 30 seconds! The upper part is being printed on a custom designed/built core XY 3D printer. It uses Sailfish firmware with ditto printing to create two parts at one time. Sliced using Simplify3D, .2mm layers, 100% infill. It has custom support structures integrated into the model to reduce extra slicer supports. Printed using FormFutura TitanX filament.
